Updated: 10 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect through the clinic’s website, why we collect it and what rights you have. We wrote it plainly, because it concerns you directly.

Who processes the data

The controller is HELVETIA PSIHOMEDICAL CENTER S.R.L., tax ID 49792833, Trade Register no. J2024005907407, registered office at Str. Laloșu nr. 3, bl. 3A, sc. A, ap. 4, Sector 4, București, Romania. You can write to us at helvetia.psihomedical@gmail.com or call 0767 286 796.

What data we collect and why

Contact and appointment forms. When you write to us through the website we collect your name, phone number, optionally your email address, the type of consultation you want, the preferred location and time slot, and your message, if you choose to write one. We use them to call you back, confirm the appointment and answer your questions. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, and the steps taken at your request before you become a patient.

Health data. Choosing a type of consultation or what you write in your message may say something about your health. This is special-category data, with extra legal protection. We process it only with your explicit consent, and only the clinic’s medical and reception staff have access to it. You do not need to give us medical details to book an appointment.

Emails. After you send a form, the clinic receives a notification with your details and you receive a confirmation by email, if you left an address.

Technical data. The server records the IP address, browser type and pages visited in logs used for security and operation. For aggregate traffic statistics (such as pages visited, traffic sources and device type) we use Independent Analytics, a plugin that runs on the website’s server, does not use cookies and does not send data to third parties. The website does not use advertising tools.

How long we keep the data

Form requests are kept for as long as needed to reply and organise the appointment, but no longer than 12 months, after which they are deleted. If you become a patient, medical data becomes part of your medical record and is kept according to the legislation on medical records. Technical logs are kept for at most 90 days.

Who we share the data with

Your data is not sold and not shared for marketing. It can be seen only by the providers that help us operate: the website host and the email service, both contractually bound to confidentiality. We do not transfer data outside the European Union unless the provider offers the safeguards required by law. We may disclose data to authorities only where the law obliges us to.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability and the right to object. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing. Write to helvetia.psihomedical@gmail.com and we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, at dataprotection.ro.

Cookies

The website uses only strictly necessary cookies. Details in the Cookie policy.
